Here are some basic fuel injector questions we run across every day. Kaleb has graciously researched and answered these questions for us. 1) What's the stock cc for the VE, or VG 89-91 and 92-94 injectors? Stock VE is somewhere between 240cc and 270cc. Stock VG 3rd Gens (all) are around 180cc or 190cc. I don't know for sure, unfortunately. 2) What's the cc for the TTZ 95-96 injectors? 370cc. 3) Will the 95-96 TTZ injectors need ECU recoding by JWT in order to work correctly? Any injector flow change will require a ECU recoding if you don't want to have adverse effects. An example of upgrading to larger injectors and not recoding the ECU would result in a too-rich condition at all times, rough or unsteady idle, possibly inability to idle, and horrible fuel economy. 4) The earlier TTZ injectors are the same shape and size as the earlier VG and will not work for the later VG's, do they not work for the VE also? All 92+ Maxima Injectors are the smaller shape and size, the same as the 95+ TTZ, 94+ NA Z, 95+ Maxima, etc. The old, larger style injectors will not work in the VE fuel rail or harness. 5) What if I have an 89-92 VG Maxima, is there any way I can use the new style injectors? In theory, yes. You would only need to change your fuel rail over to the 93-94 style (from a 93- 94 VG) and purchase new-style injector harnesses from a Nissan dealer to splice into your engine harness (Courtesy Nissan has these). -=Kaleb=- Numbers?
